Heightened security protocols added to Fells Point
Tensions over the recent violence in Fells Point boiled over Thursday night when Mayor Brandon Scott was a no-show for a community meeting on the problems. On Friday, Scott explained his absence to 11 News. Meanwhile, business owners are complaining about the police response planned for this weekend. Business owners said they aren't happy about the meeting, Scott not showing up nor the plan of action that begins on Friday night. One person even suggested they change the name to "Fort Fells Point."
