Helen Flanagan opens up about her split from Scott Sinclair

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has opened up on her split from fiancé Scott Sinclair.
The actress got engaged to the professional footballer in 2018, however the pair decided to call off their relationship last July after 13 years together.
Speaking to OK! ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity: South Africa, Helen explained that the couple have no plans to reconcile and are instead focusing on co-parenting their three children.
"I just hope we can be good friends and co-parent," she told the magazine.

"A lot of people say, 'Oh, stay, make things work for the children'. But children need happy parents and they need a happy environment, so it's not always so straightforward," she continued.
"You don’t spend all your twenties with someone, have three children and not have a good relationship and care about them and love them. When you have that with someone, no one – nothing – can take away what we had.
"I'll always love him and he'll always love me, you just sometimes don't work any more."
The actress also revealed why she opted to wear her engagement ring while filming for the I'm a Celebrity series, explaining that she hadn't been ready to talk about the break-up at the time.

"I did wear my engagement ring when I was in the jungle, she added. "We’d only just broken up, and I didn’t want everyone to be asking, 'Where’s your ring?'.
"I wanted to keep it private for the kids."
The actress recently reflected on her time on the all-stars series, which was recorded last September, telling the Loose Women panel that she'd rather give birth than take part in some of the Bushtucker Trials.
