Helicopter Rescues Stranded Driver From Inundated Van Amid Flash Flooding in Nevada

Las Vegas police airlifted a stranded driver from a vehicle submerged in floodwater in Moapa Valley, Nevada, on Wednesday, September 14, according to officials.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Las Vegas area due to “continuous heavy rainfall.”

Videos posted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Northeast Resident Section on Wednesday show a helicopter lifting someone from a van inundated with floodwater in Moapa Valley.
