Hello Kitty truck returns to Twelve Oaks this weekend
Her expressionless and innocent face has been featured on countless items, ranging from tote bags to nightlights to coffee mugs. First featured on a 1974 vinyl coin purse in Japan, the character quickly became famous elsewhere.
Hello Kitty, the cute and pure icon, gained global popularity in the 1980s and has remained prominent since.
And lucky for all the Hello Kitty lovers in metro Detroit, a themed café truck featuring merchandise and treats inspired by this icon is soon returning.
According to an email to the Detroit Free Press, the Hello Kitty Café Truck will be in town this Saturday at Twelve Oaks Mall. The truck will be located near the food court from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Hello Kitty Café Truck first launched in 2014 at Hello Kitty Con in southern California, according to the Detroit Free Press. Since then, the trucks have made their way across various states in the U.S.
