Welcome to the season finale of 2021, my beautiful astro babes! The end of the year is here, ushering in the annual move through the expansive energy of Sagittarius season and into the structure of Capricorn season. The month starts off in a major way with the New Moon and total eclipse in Sagittarius on December 4. Yes, this one is totally powerful, and it's wrapping up themes that began in June 2020. Expect a final metamorphosis surrounding beliefs and ideology over the next six months.
Towards the middle of the month, there is a Full Moon in Gemini at the opposite axis from the total solar eclipse on December 18. While it’s not Mercury Retrograde, this Full Moon will form a tense connection to hazy Neptune in Pisces. This energy is challenging in terms of clarity of communication. The good news is that there is cosmic support from lucky Jupiter in Aquarius, so what is revealed will encourage positive growth.
The following day, we have a super significant (and long, lasting until January 29) Venus Retrograde period beginning in the earth sign of Capricorn. Venus Retrograde occurs once every 18 months, and the ~love planet~ takes 8 years to move through the zodiac. Quick tip: Think back to 2013 and the events surrounding love and relationships that occurred then. That will give you more clarity on what to expect. As the planetary goddess of love, beauty, relationships, and finances makes her backwards move in the sky, prepare for an ex's return, unresolved relationship themes, and shifting financial resources. New haircuts, beauty looks, or plastic surgery is not recommended during this time—you may regret it later!
As the year ends, Jupiter, the planet of luck, expansion, and growth, makes its final move from Aquarius and into its exaltation in Pisces. In English: This is definitely a MUCH better position for Jupiter to be in.
