Help El Cajon break the world record for ‘Most Dogs to Attend a Film Screening’

EL CAJON, Calif. — Bring your dog to Wells Park in El Cajon on Feb. 24 and you could be the one to help them break a world record.

The City of El Cajon has announced a world record attempt for the “Most Dogs to Attend a Film Screening.”

Not enough Kyles: Texas city falls short in same-name world record attempt

A screening of the movie “Beethoven” will be held in Wells Park — 1153 East Madison Avenue in El Cajon — on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The free, outdoor movie screening is family-friendly so the entire family can attend, just don’t forget to bring your furry friend. There will also be crafts and activities for kids.

The current world record stands at 219 dogs. So only 220 dogs need to attend to break the record.

To participate, dog owners need to arrive for check-in by 1:00 p.m. on Feb. 24, just ahead of the screening. Here’s more important details you need to know.

These San Diego rescue pups will be featured in Puppy Bowl XX
