‘Help! I’m In A Secret Relationship Exclusive Preview: Rahne Jones and Travis Mills Are Bringing More Truths To Light In This Week’s Episode

Rahne Jones and Travis Mills are back to uncover more hidden romances in season 2 of MTV’s Help! I’m In A Secret Relationship.

Here’s the official logline for the new season:

Travis Mills and Rahne Jones are returning with their jaw-dropping series, “Help! I’m in a Secret Relationship!,” where they uncover the heartbreaking stories of people who have been emotionally manipulated into keeping their relationships a secret. These are the cautionary tales of people who believe they have found the love of their lives, only to discover lies at the core of their relationships. What if your true love is hiding a massive secret… and that secret is you?

In an exclusive clip for this week’s episode, Jones and Mills investigate Mikkie and Dale’s relationship. The episode logline is as follows: “Mikkie dreams of one day marrying Dale and having a baby but refuses to accept that she’s never met anyone in his family.”

Although not everyone is receptive of their help, Mills and Jones still enjoy supporting couples to open up to each other in a healthy and effective way.

While speaking with Shadow and Act last year, Jones and Mills discussed their experience working on a show that brings the truth to light.

“I think for me, it was seeing people’s relationships be repaired and then walking away from this experience in a better, healthier, stronger relationship than when they entered,” Mills said. “And that’s really all you can hope for. And that’s like what we try to do every time. Obviously, it doesn’t always work out that way. But when it does, it’s fulfilling and it’s rewarding. That’s why we do it.”

“And for me, I think it is watching someone find the confidence to seek the answers that they so rightly deserve,” Jones shared. “A lot of times it’s hard to communicate, [and maybe] that’s because we are a social media-heavy, in our phone-type of the generation now. As a person who had difficulty communicating and past experiences, I can definitely relate. But to see these couples, especially the person that’s being hidden, have the confidence to communicate– and then the person who’s doing the hiding, having the bravery to sit in front of cameras and have an honest conversation– I think the level of empowerment that people get from finally being able to speak their truth and how they feel was really rewarding to watch.”
