‘Help us help families’: Pregnancy Help Center in Lufkin collecting donations of baby items

LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) – During the month of February, the Pregnancy Help Center (PHC) of Lufkin is collecting donations of baby supplies to help East Texas families.

PHC said that the items that can be donated include baby supplies, bottles, diapers and wipes in order to stock the Lufkin resource room. They said all resources go to families in need at no cost. Currently, the PHC is asking for the help of local churches and businesses to host collection sites.

“We’d like to have as many locations as possible so that our community can drop off donations at a location that is convenient for them,” the PHC of Lufkin said.

PHC said hosting a collection site is “easy peasy.” Hosts would need to set a side an area for the community to drop off donations, and later drop them off at the help center at 401 Gaslight Blvd on Feb. 29.
