Monroe County Youth Council: Youth Leadership Skills Summit event

Youth leadership matters! Skill Up with MCYC at the Leadership Skills Summit! Take a few hours (12:30-4:30 p.m.) with your peers on Saturday, March 25, to develop your leadership skills, share what you know, build connections with other students in Monroe County, and learn how to use your influence to make your team, your group, and your community thrive! Welcome reception — volunteers needed

Indiana University Collections at McCalla is seeking volunteers to help staff a sizeable welcome reception taking place Tuesday, April 11, from 5-6:30 p.m. Motivated volunteers are needed to serve as gallery guides, answer general questions and ensure the safety of the objects in the galleries. Volunteers for all theater crafting needed

Monroe County Civic Theater Summer Shakespeare in the Park begins in April and volunteers are needed for all aspects of theater crafting. MCCT is Bloomington’s only all-volunteer, nonprofit theater, with a focus on celebrating all people, regardless of experience, who want to explore the theatrical arts. People of all ages, ethnicities, genders and abilities are welcome. Acting, directing, tech work, whatever your theater dreams, they have an opportunity for you. Foot clinic volunteers

Beacon Inc. is looking for volunteers to run a foot clinic at Shalom Center. The volunteers do not need to be medical professionals, as there will be no diagnosing or major medical treatment. Volunteers would help Shalom guests with foot washing, nail trimming, minor wound cleansing and bandaging, and encouragement to visit a doctor in case of a severe and/or chronic foot condition.
