COLIN HENDERSON: Welcome back, Lance Lynn. The White Sox starter is set to make his first start of the season after being activated off the 60-day IL, having fully recovered from a knee injury. For a White Sox team that has been banged up and woefully underperformed so far this year, and with fellow starter Michael Kopech leaving his start early on Sunday, Lynn's return could not come at a better time. He looks likely to face the Tigers on Monday night and should get the chance to squeeze in another start this week on Sunday against the Astros.

The 35-year-old had one of his best seasons to date in 2021, going 11 and 6 with a 2.69 ERA, 1.07 whip, and 176 Ks across 157 innings pitched. It may take a few games for Lynn to get fully stretched out and regain his workhorse title and load. But few pitchers in the modern game have consistently thrown as many innings per year as the righty. While Chicago will be leaning on Lynn to get back in the race for the AL Central, he should be equally as valuable for fantasy managers over the rest of the season. Be sure to activate him now off your IL and be rewarded for your patience.
