Henderson County has several places to find pumpkins for picking

Halloween is now less than two weeks away, and if you're still shopping for pumpkins, Henderson County has several places where you can take your pick.

Listed below are 10 spots where there are plenty of pumpkins to choose from:

Description: Jeter Mountain Farm is a you-pick apple orchard located on nearly 400 acres in Hendersonville. In addition to apples, peaches, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, elderberries and sunflowers, the farm has pumpkins, which become available in early October each year.

Justus Orchard

Description: This family farm grew 15 acres of pumpkins and gourds this year along with apples, mums pansies and other things for fall displays. There is also an indoor pumpkin maze for kids. The farm started growing pumpkins in 2012 and was the first to offer pick your own pumpkins in the area.
