Hendersonville new businesses: Cajun Steamer, Prime Car Wash, Liberty Federal

Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill is scheduled to hold a grand opening for the public at its new Hendersonville location on Tuesday, March 7 with a Mardi Gras style “Bourbon Street themed party."

The grand opening is scheduled 11 a.m.-9 p.m., at the restaurant that is part of a new strip center at 185 Indian Lake Blvd.

The event will feature drink specials and live music by the Admiral Phunk Brass Band.

Restaurant hours will 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m.-10 p.m., on Friday-Saturday; and 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday.

Cajun Steamer will open for two charity events on Monday, the day before the grand opening. They are:

  • Donate to Dine, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., March 6: A $3 donation is requested to a local charity and Cajun Steamer will offer lunch on a first-come first-serve basis with no reservations or RSVP required. Open to the public.

  • Community Heroes Dinner, 5-9 p.m., March 6: Firefighters, police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, teachers, and other community heroes in Hendersonville can receive a complimentary meal and non-alcoholic beverage. Proof of employment, identification or badge is required. First-come, first-serve with with no reservations or RSVP required. Spouses, partners and children are welcome.

Cajun Steam Bar & Grill  also has locations open in Murfreesboro and Franklin.

Prime Car Wash

Work has started at 393 E. Main St. at the corner of Bonita Parkway on what will be the first Prime Car Wash in Tennessee, according to co-owner of the franchise Chuck Hundt.

Prime Car Wash is marketed as a higher end car wash that offers exterior and interior cleaning and detailing with different memberships available. Hundt estimates to be open by the end of the year.

Liberty Federal Credit Union

A site plan to construct a 6,840 square foot single-story building at 284 Indian Lake Blvd., behind the Firehouse Subs and Hampton Inn is approved.

Plans are to start construction in May or June and open in the summer of 2024, Liberty Federal Credit Union Director of Facilities Ryan Foster said.
