Hendersonville man charged with assault with a deadly weapon

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest Monday related to a reported assault that occurred earlier in November.

On Friday Nov. 19 at 10:07 p.m., the Henderson County E-911 Center received a report of a person being assaulted at a residence on Thunder Bay Lane in Henderson County, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Once on scene, officers and medical personnel located the victim inside the residence. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Detectives with the Major Case Unit have been investigating this case and following up on leads.

On Monday, Nov. 29, detectives arrested Stanly O’Neal Case, 26 of Hendersonville, for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, the release states.

Case was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, which he was reportedly in possession of when he was arrested, according to the sheriff’s office.

He is currently being held in the Henderson County Detention Facility on a $66,500 secured bond.
