Henrietta school aide charged with child pornography, indecency
A 19-year-old man listed as an aide at Henrietta Elementary School is accused of producing child pornography and distributing it via his Snapchat social media account, according to allegations in court documents.
Blaine Tyler Frost of Henrietta was arrested Thursday for two charges of indecency with a child and one charge of promotion of child pornography in connection with incidents in February, according to online jail records and court documents.
Frost was being held Thursday in the Clay County Jail on $1 million in total bonds, according to online jail records.
The charges are second-degree felonies punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Anyone accused of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Frost is listed as an inclusion paraprofessional on Henrietta Elementary School's website.
The investigation is being conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety's Criminal Investigations Division.
Affidavits for arrest warrants outlined the allegations against Frost.
On June 5, a DPS Criminal Investigations Division special agent received information from special agents with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations about investigations in the agency's Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, field office probing the production of child pornography in Henrietta, according to allegations in affidavits.
The DPS special agent reviewed illicit videos and images, and he identified Frost in them, using his Texas driver's license as verification, according to allegations.
Frost allegedly committed indecency with a child, involving a 3- to 5-year-old boy, in a video from a Snapchat story, according to allegations. Then Frost distributed the child sexual abuse material to another suspect.
The Times Record News reached out to Henrietta ISD officials for comment Thursday evening.
