Herbie Hancock and George Benson will headline the 2022 Jacksonville Jazz Festival when it returns to its traditional Memorial Day weekend slot.

Other acts announced Thursday for the May 26-29 festival in the downtown Jacksonville streets include Mindi Abair, David Sanchez, Jazzmeia Horn, the Christian Sands Trio, the Emmet Cohen Trio, the U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note and the John Lumpkin Trio. Other acts will be announced over the next few weeks.

Hancock will perform Friday, May 26. Benson will headline the following night and Abair will close the festival Sunday night.

Attendance is free, but VIP packages are available.
