So long, Batfleck. Battinson has officially arrived.
The Batman director Matt Reeves on Thursday dropped the first official look at Robert Pattinson in costume as the new Batman. A 55-second, Daredevil-esque video uploaded to Reeves' Vimeo page shows off Pattinson in the brand new suit for the very first time, though it's camera test footage and not actually taken from The Batman. Without further ado, here he is:

While Reeves was at it, he also provided our first tease of Michael Giacchino's score from the film, as Giacchino himself has confirmed. It's just a taste, but with Giacchino composing, the music naturally doesn't disappoint.
The Batman sees Pattinson take over as the Caped Crusader after Ben Affleck, who played the character in the poorly-received Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. Hitting theaters in 2021, it's set to follow a younger version of the character, and it's got quite the cast, with Zoë Kravitz playing Catwoman, Paul Dano playing the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. Soak in Battinson in all his glory below.
