The message reads 'Britain now wants to remain' and was carved by a tractor. Each letter reaches about 130 feet in length, according to a statement by the group. The message can only be seen from the sky.

The group, which calls itself 'Led By Donkeys,' believes that a majority of Britons now want to remain in the European Union despite the result of the 2016 referendum.

Led By Donkeys says it is evidenced by recent polling.

Artwork cut into farm fields is nothing new in the UK. During the 1990s a rash of geometric patterns in British crops dubbed "crop circles" were believed by UFO-enthusiasts to have been created by space aliens.
