If the new mid-engine C8 Corvette doesn't do anything for you, this one might. It's a rare Callaway-modified C4-generation Corvette ZR-1 Aerobody Supernatural CR1, one of just 15 in existence. With 500 horsepower to the wheels and rocking a sweet body kit, it's one of the coolest 'Vettes we've ever seen.

According to invoices from the owner, Steve Davidson, the Callaway engine and cosmetic upgrades ran a price of $44,365. Add that on top of the ZR-1's $58,995 original base price, and you've got a pricey C4 on your hands.

There are plenty of upgrades, including OZ Racing wheels and a Brembo big brake kit. Included in the sale is a dyno sheet showing the 500-horsepower capabilities of that upgraded LT5 V-8 engine (10 more horsepower than the package claimed to make when new). There's also a certificate of authenticity signed by Reeves Callaway himself, if you care about that sort of thing.

The car first appeared for sale on Corvetteblogger.com for an asking price of $69,900. Not cheap for any C4-generation Corvette, we know. But considering the upgrades made to this one, we'd say it's a pretty fair price. If you're interested, Davidson can be contacted via email at sdavidson13@cfl.rr.com.
