Here's your complete guide to the 2022 Courier Journal Wine & Food Experience

After being postponed for two years, the annual Courier Journal Wine & Food Experience returns to Norton Commons in Prospect, Kentucky, on Saturday from 1-4 p.m.

Guests will be able to attend cooking demonstrations and wine seminars, taste curated bites from local restaurants and more. The event, part of an eight-city tour, will feature small bites from dozens of local restaurants, including Ciao RistoranteI Love Tacos and Louvino.

When is the 2022 Wine & Food Experience?

The Courier Journal Wine & Food Experience takes place on Oct. 1 from 1-4 p.m. at Oval Park in Norton Commons, 10920 Meeting St. Here are the entry times:

  • 12 p.m.: VIP ticket holder entry (SOLD OUT)

  • 1 p.m.: Grand Tasting ticket holder entry  (SOLD OUT)

What food will be at the 2022 event?

While we can't offer you the complete tasting details for all the restaurants at the 2022 event, here's a sneak peek of some of what you'll see. Please note that some restaurants may change their items at the last minute.

  • Red Yeti: goat cheese fritters with red pepper jelly

  • Brunch & Soul: pot roast, Cajun pasta and salmon tenders

  • BIS: Pomodoro and Basilico sauce samples

  • Cooking with Jan: mini stuffed salmon

  • Tin Lizzie Baked Goods: buttercream frosted sugar cookie

  • Drake's: buffalo chicken dip

  • Harry's: hot baked crab dip

What wine will be at the 2022 event?

Guests can sample wine, spirits and beers from the following purveyors:

Where do I park at Norton Commons?

The fourth annual Wine & Food Experience will take place outside, near the Norton Commons amphitheater field at 10920 Meeting St. in Prospect. Parking is available just down the street, and there will be people directing traffic Saturday.

What can I bring to the Wine & Food Experience?

Bring yourself and your ticket. Please don't bring any outside food or drink, as you'll be attending a food and drink event. Don't bring any weapons of any kind, glass containers, fireworks or explosives. Service animals on leashes are permitted.

Can I still get tickets?

Sorry, no. Both the VIP and Grand Tasting tickets are sold out.
