Here's when you can reserve your Easter weekend campsite at Corpus Christi's Labonte Park

One of Corpus Christi’s most popular Easter celebration sites is opening reservations Thursday.

LaBonte Park each year becomes fully reserved for Easter weekend by families camping in the Northwest side recreational spot.

This year, the long Easter weekend runs from Friday, March 29, through Sunday, March 31.

Campsite reservations open at noon Thursday, according to a news release, and can be made at https://register.ccparkandrec.com/. The reservation period ends at noon March 28, it states.

A map of the campsites and their sizes is available online at the city’s parks and recreation website, along with additional details on what is required when making reservations as well as parking.

Large campsites for RVs run about $55 for the weekend, while smaller campsites cost about $28, according to the news release. Only one request can be made per person, it states.
