Here's how El Pasoans voted in the Nov. 7 Texas constitutional amendment election

Voters across Texas headed to the polls on Election Day to decide the state's constitutional amendment election.

There were 14 propositions on the Nov. 7 ballot tackling a myriad of issues from property taxes, wastewater and broadband infrastructure, higher education research and quality of life issues.

One, Proposition 11, was specifically related to El Paso County and would allow conservation and reclamation districts within the county "to issue bonds supported by ad valorem taxes to fund the development and maintenance of parks and recreational facilities."

For election final results, El Pasoans largely supported the 14 propositions, though they voted against Proposition 13. The final ballot count came to 44,504, with an 8.95% voter turnout.
