SPOILER ALERT: Major spoilers for season 3 of 13 Reasons Why below!

The countdown for 13 Reasons Why's fourth and final season is almost over. With only one more season left, fans are wondering what is going to happen next for the students of Liberty High as they deal with their biggest issue yet, while trying to survive the brutal hierarchy that makes up their high school. So what's next for Clay and the rest of his friends and how will they pull themselves out of the next big case ahead of them? Here's everything you need to know about 13 Reasons Why season 4...

When does season 4 come out?

Netflix officially announced that the fourth and final season of 13 Reasons Why will be released on June 5. It will include 10 episodes, which is less than past seasons which have all included 13, but will follow the kids in their last year at Liberty High.

"It served the story better, and 10 episodes ended up being the sweet spot for us. I think 10 episodes is a nice length for a season. I was adamant going into season 2 that it had to be 13 because the show's called 13 Reasons Why and if I'm a young viewer, I'm like, '13 reasons why but there's only 10 episodes,'" creator Brian Yorkey told Entertainment Weekly. "But at this point, heading into season 4 it was like, 'We've given them 39 reasons why at least, so I feel like we can say, yes the show is still called 13 Reasons Why, this season is 10 episodes.' It's the right number, you'll see that when we get to the end."

Fans can start watching the season at 3 AM ET/12 PM PT, which is when Netflix typically drops new episodes for original series.

Is there a trailer?

Netflix finally released the trailer for the final season of 13 Reasons Why and things aren't looking good for Clay and the rest of the gang. It looks like Winston is out to get revenge for Monty's death and Clay isn't handling it so well. Check out the trailer below:

The show also released a teaser video showing the cast saying goodbye to the set, their cast mates, and their characters for the last time as they finished up shooting the final season. If you're a big fan of this show like we are, you'll definitely want to grab some tissues before watching this:

Who will be coming back?

Along with the date and teaser, Netflix also confirmed the cast for season four and there are plenty of new and familiar faces that will be popping up. The season four cast includes:

Dylan Minnette as Clay Jensen, Alisha Boe as Jessica Davis, Brandon Flynn as Justin Foley, Miles Heizer as Alex Standall, Grace Saif as Ani Achola, Christian Navarro as Tony Padilla, Ross Butler as Zach Dempsey, Devin Druid as Tyler Down, Timothy Granaderos as Montgomery de la Cruz, Anne Winters as Chloe, Deaken Bluman as Winston Williams, Tyler Barnhardt as Charlie St. George, Austin Aaron as Luke Holliday, Inde Navarrette as Estela de la Cruz, RJ Brown as Caleb, Steven Weber as Principle Bowen, Brenda Strong as Mrs. Walker, Amy Hargreaves as Mrs. Jensen, Josh Hamilton as Matt Jensen, Mark Pellegrino as Deputy Standall and introducing Jan Luis Castellanos as Diego Torres.

Although he is not listed, Justin Prentice does appear in the teaser as Bryce Walker, so there's a possible chance we might be seeing more of him in a few scenes.

What is going to happen in season 4?

According to Netflix, "In the series' final season, Liberty High School's Senior Class prepares for graduation. But before they say goodbye, they'll have to keep a dangerous secret buried and face heartbreaking choices that could impact their futures forever."

Season 3 ended in a huge cliffhanger as it was revealed that Jessica and Alex were the one's who really killed Bryce. They also have a copy of the tape where he confesses to raping Jessica and Hannah. Monty was also killed when he went to jail for sexually assaulting Tyler and was accused of Bryce's murder. However, Winston knows that Monty couldn't have done it as he was with him all night, so that secret might become undone soon enough.

Meanwhile, season 3's final scene featured an unknown fisherman finding the guns that Tony and Clay got rid of for Tyler in the lake. Will the police trace it back to them or will someone else get blamed for it all? Guess we'll have to wait to find out.

How is the cast reacting to the show ending after season 4?
