Opponents, times, TV: What to know about the 2022-23 Kentucky men's basketball schedule
LEXINGTON — It took some time, but the 2022-23 Kentucky men's basketball schedule is complete.
Or mostly complete.
UK released the full slate Tuesday, with only some times and TV to be set.
The release filled in some gaps on the UK schedule, including the season opener. The Wildcats will host Howard on Nov. 7 to tip off the regular season and also will play a Nov. 11 home game against Duquesne before their first big-name test of the season, against Michigan State on Nov. 15.
Home dates announced Tuesday included games against South Carolina State (Nov. 17), North Florida(Nov. 23) and Yale (Dec. 10).
The SEC had previously announced the full league schedule with broadcast times and TV information.
UK will appear on CBS three times in the SEC season, for home games against Tennessee and Auburn and the regular-season finale at Arkansas. Eleven of Kentucky's conference games will appear on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The Wildcats open conference play Dec. 28 at Missouri. That comes three days before UK hosts its rivalry game with Louisville.

Kentucky's SEC home opener is Jan. 3 against LSU.
The Wildcats will play two games against Arkansas, perhaps its top competition for the league championship. The Razorbacks visit Rupp Arena on Feb. 7 and host the Cats at Bud Walton Arena in the teams' season finale March 4.
Times and broadcast information for most of UK's nonconference games will be released at a later date, though broadcast partners are set for the Champions Classic, CBS Sports Classic and Dec. 31 home game against Louisville.

With the June 16 confirmation that the Wildcats will host Kansas in January as part of the annual Big 12/SEC Challenge, we now know the Rupp Arena slate should be dramatically improved from a year ago. Kentucky will also host Louisville at noon on New Year's Eve after the rivalry game was canceled a year ago due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Cardinals' program. The Wildcats will also host Bellarmine for the first time since the Knights transition to Division I.
The schedule will also feature the normal slate of marquee neutral-site games, highlighted by a showdown with Michigan in London, England. UK was originally scheduled to play a neutral-site game against Notre Dame as part of a three-year series, but that game has been pushed back to next season, according to a report from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
