Here's when Fayetteville, Cumberland offices will be closed for New Year's

Night Circus will be Sunday evening at Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville.

In observance of the New Year's holiday, the following city of Fayetteville and Cumberland County offices will be closed, according to statements from the city and county.

Government offices

• City of Fayetteville government offices will be closed Monday.

• Cumberland County government offices will be closed Monday.

Law enforcement

• The main police station front lobby and records unit at 467 Hay St. will be closed Monday. Residents can file a police report online; send anonymous tips to help solve crimes to Crimestoppers by calling 910-483-TIPS or visiting p3tips.com; and are encouraged to call 911 to report suspicious activity and emergencies.

Solid waste

• Monday's household and yard waste will be collected Wednesday.

• Monday's recycling will be collected Tuesday; Tuesday's recycling will be collected Wednesday; Jan. 4 recycling will be collected Jan. 5. Jan. 5 recycling will be collected Jan. 6.

• All Cumberland County Solid Waste locations, including the Ann Street Landfill at 698 Ann St., will be closed Monday.

Fayetteville Regional Airport

• Airport Administrative Offices will be closed Monday

• All other operations will continue as regularly scheduled.

Fayetteville Area System of Transit

• There will be no service Monday. Normal operations will resume Tuesday.

• Administrative offices will be closed Monday.

Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation

• Administrative offices will be closed Monday.

• Recreation centers will operate on an abbreviated schedule, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Monday.

• Parks, trails and green space areas will remain open and accessible to the public Monday.

Other offices

• The court system will be closed Monday.

• Cumberland County library branches will be closed Sunday and Monday.

• Cumberland County Animal Services will be closed Monday. To report an after-hours animal emergency, call Cumberland County Emergency Services at 910-323-1141 or 911.
