Knives Out 2 has unveiled the briefest of snippets ahead of its Netflix release this autumn.

At the very end of the streamer's new 2022 movie preview video (above), which sent the world into a state of severe anticipation today (February 3), we see Daniel Craig's master detective Benoit Blanc pull into focus on a Greek island as the boat behind him loads up with his newest subjects.

Who are they exactly? Well, we don't have any character names yet, but here's the sequel's enviable ensemble: Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monáe, Ethan Hawke, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick and Kate Hudson.

Back in August, Army of the Dead actor Bautista explained why Knives Out 2 is going to top the original.

"I really think it's going to be as good, if not better, than the first one. I'm always afraid to say that because I don't want anybody to get offended saying that we're going to be better, but I really do think this.

"I think the characters are just so much more colorful," he said. "I think people are really going to dig this. The characters are just so great. They're so different."
