Hawaii support staffer ahead of Vanderbilt game: You have 'no idea' what you're getting into

According to Hawaii football director of player development Jeff Reinebold, Vanderbilt must prepare for the unexpected.

When discussing with reporters at practice on Thursday, Reinebold mentioned a few details on the stadium atmosphere and team traditions in preparation for the Rainbow Warriors' season opener against the Commodores.

"I cannot wait for that moment when we come out into that stadium," Reinbold said. "I know there's going to be 9,300 people there, but I will bet you that the energy is going to be like there's 90,000 in that stadium."

Vanderbilt is scheduled to take on Hawaii during "Week zero," which is allowed under NCAA ruling for the Rainbow Warriors and their opponents. Week zero games are scheduled the weekend before Labor Day.
