Here's what you need to know about the new Burrito Hub coming mid-2023
Hello, Spartanburg foodies!
Here's your weekly food news round-up:
Webber Plaza (2601 E. Main St.) is getting a makeover. The strip mall and its surrounding buildings will be getting a fresh look and some, but not all, new tenants, according to project partners Josh Tew and Paul Halphen.
The new tenant of interest thus far is Burrito Hub, which will be opening a second location in the renovated W Square shopping plaza. The location will have indoor and outdoor seating and will be located in the center of a planned outdoor recreation area. Owner Hugo Montanez discussed plans for the new restaurant in the story linked below.

Piggly Wiggly is officially open on the city's south side! The grocery store opened Aug. 24, and reporter Joanna Johnson and photographer Alex Hicks have a first look for anyone who hasn't made a trip there yet.
The store is open from 7 a.m.- 9 p.m. daily.

And here's another recent story from Joanna that you should give a read. Spartanburg Soup Kitchen and TOTAL Ministries are both in need of donations because they are serving more meals than usual. The increased demand is attributed to rising food and gas prices. Leaders from both organizations outline what and how to donate in the link below.
