Here's what you need to know before heading to the 2022 Prize Fest in Shreveport

Prize Fest is almost here, and now it's time to plan for both of the event-filled fun weekends happening in downtown Shreveport.

Check out how to buy tickets, how to vote during each competition and more below.

Tickets

Film Prize (In Person, General Admission) - $30

This ticket gets you general admission seating at Film Prize to see all 20 short films as well as a ballot to cast for the best performance categories and the grand prize winner.

Screenings will occur regularly at multiple venues across the festival area with seating for each screening being first come, first served.

Film Prize (Virtual) - $50

Watch all 20 of the Film Prize short films online and vote for both the grand prize winner and best performance awards.

Film Prize (VIP) - $350

This ticket gives you VIP access during all of Film Prize (Thursday, October 20 - Saturday, October 22.) You will get to see all 20 short films, a ballot to cast for the best performance categories and the grand prize winner, you will get access to the exclusive VIP Lounge (Friday, October 21 - Saturday, October 22) with complimentary food and drinks as well as priority seating at all Film Prize screening venues.

Music Prize (General Admission - 2 Nights) - $30

This ticket gets you general admission entry into Music Prize for both nights of competition Friday, October 14 - Saturday, October 15.

Music Prize (General Admission - 1 Night) - $20

This ticket gets you general admission entry into one night of Music Prize for either Friday, October 14 or Saturday, October 15.

Music Prize (VIP) - $150

This ticket gets you VIP access to Music Prize for both nights of competition Friday, October 14 - Saturday, October 15. Sip on specialty drinks and snack on delicious food in the VIP lounge.

Fashion Prize + Brunch (General Admission) - $65

This ticket gets you general admission entry into Fashion Prize for the final designer competition on Sunday, October 16 that includes brunch with mimosas.

Fashion Prize + Brunch (VIP) - $150

This ticket gets you VIP access to the Fashion Prize final designer competition on Sunday, October 16 and includes premium runway seating, brunch and unlimited mimosas.

Food Prize Come & Get It Dining Experience - $250

Come taste the most amazing food by up-and-coming local chefs and celebrity chefs at Food Prize Come & Get It. You will experience seven chef creations with wine pairings and relish new mixology creations all in one night on Friday, October 21.

Comedy Prize (General Admission) - $20

Come laugh the night away during Comedy Prize where regional comics will take the stage to compete for the grand prize on Saturday, October 22.

Comedy Prize (Table for 2) or (Table for 4) - $100 or $200

Come laugh the night away during Comedy Prize where regional comics will take the stage to compete for the grand prize on Saturday, October 22. These tickets includes two well, wine, or beer drinks for each guest.

Casting Your Vote

At the check-in, you will receive a Film Prize badge that you will take with you to all of the screenings. After each screening, a festival staff member will punch your pass showing that you have seen that slate of films.

Attendees must see all 20 films to be eligible to vote. After completing both screenings, take your badge to the voting booth to cast your vote for your favorite film and favorite performance.

How Food Prize: Come and Get It Works

Seven local chefs have been paired with seven celebrity chefs to create never-before-tasted dishes along with custom cocktail creations by Shreveport mixologists.

Step 1: Taste the Dishes

When you arrive, you'll receive a Food Prize voting token, then you'll taste all seven of the dishes and determine which is your favorite. Drop your token in to the voting box of your favorite chef to cast your vote!

Step 2: Taste the Cocktails

When you arrive, you'll receive a Cocktail voting token and you'll taste all of the cocktails created by local mixologists to determine which is your favorite. Drop your token in the box of your favorite mixologist to cast your vote!

Step 3: Enjoy the Night

This event isn't a sprint, it's a marathon! So pace yourself, enjoy the evening and rub elbows with fellow Food Prize foodies.

How Music Prize Works

Eleven musicians from across the country will perform live before you and a panel of judges to select this year's grand prize winner.

Step 1: Hear the Bands

When you arrive, you will receive a Music Prize badge that permits you to enter the venue to listen to the bands. You must hear at least three bands to be eligible to vote.

Step 2: Punch Your Pass

Once a band has finished playing, get your pass punched by a Music Prize staff member.

Step 3: Vote

Once you have at least three punches on your pass, visit the voting booth to vote for your favorite musician.
