Here's what you need to know about newest shops coming to Peddler's Village

Peddler's Village in Lahaska is expanding its roster to 60 boutiques and specialty shops, providing visitors with a relocated and expanded clothing boutique, a spicy condiment outlet and a puzzle shop.

Each shop will have its grand opening on Friday, March 17.

Here's the latest on Not Your Sisters Closet, Pepper Palace and Pieces:

Dress up at Not Your Sisters Closet boutique

New Hope-based clothing boutique Not Your Sisters Closet will expand from its current location in Peddler's Village to a larger and more prominent location in space #161A in Peddler's Village Courtyard.

Not Your Sisters Closet opened online in September 2019, and will host an in-store "Sip and Shop" between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19.

Its location in Peddler's Village is Not Your Sisters Closet's first brick-and-mortar location.

Pepper Palace to spice up Peddler's Village

National chain Pepper Palace is expanding its Philadelphia-region footprint with the opening of its location in Peddler's Village.

According to its website, Pepper Palace already operates locations in Langhorne and inside King of Prussia Mall, Philadelphia Mills and Philadelphia Premium Outlets.

Pepper Palace operates more than 160 locations across the United States and Canada.

Pepper Palace is known for handcrafted BBQ wing sauces, hot sauces, salsas and other seasoning and rubs.

Pepper Palace's sauces range from mild to extreme — with extreme including the ghost pepper extract that Pepper Palace markets as the "Hottest Sauce in the Universe." To make it, Pepper Palace uses 40 pounds of ghost peppers, plus a pepper extract that hits 3 million on the Scoville scale, which measures the heat of chili peppers.

For context, the hottest pepper in the world is the Carolina Reaper, with a measurement of 1,641,183 Scoville units.

Pepper Palace is opening in shop #161, which is also located in the Wagon House Shops section.

Pieces encourages board game play, puzzle solving

Pieces is a puzzle and game shop geared toward adults, and will carry puzzles, brainteasers, board games, trivia, playing cards, dice, poker chips and other party favors.

Among those are Ravensburger Puzzles, several variations of “Host Your Own Murder Mystery” games and the popular "What Do You Meme?" adult game.

Craig and Buffy Weidman, owners of Tempus Cards & Gifts of the Upper Village Green, will operate Pieces in Peddler's Village. Pieces will be located in the Courtyard, in the space formerly occupied by Cuboid.

Peddler's Village continues tradition of unique shops

The 42-acre Peddler's Village is located at Routes 202 & 263 in Lahaska, and has a reputation as a quaint shopping and dining venue.

Peddler's Village shops are open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 pm.
