Here's what we know about the Toys R Us comeback inside Macy's at White Oaks Mall

Toys R Us is back, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

The iconic toy store has reopened inside more than 400 Macy’s locations in the U.S., including Springfield's White Oaks Mall.

The shops are part of a partnership between Macy's and the toy shop owner WHP Global, an investment firm that acquired the brand in 2021.

The stores will range in size from 1,000 square feet in smaller Macy’s locations to up to 10,000 square feet in flagship stores in larger cities.

Toys R Us carries popular toy brands including Fisher Price, Hot Wheels, Lego, Nerf and Barbie.

Toys R Us had a standalone store on Veterans Parkway near White Oaks Mall before the company filed bankruptcy and shuttered all of its stores in 2018.
