In the summertime, music, and entertainment are just better outside. In that department, Louisville's Iroquois Amphitheater has you covered — literally.

On Monday, the venue announced its season lineup for performances, kicking off April 26 with indie rock band Modest Mouse. It also announced the return of its free summer movie series and the return of the Jack O' Lantern Spectacular, now in its 10th year, which will take place at the park from Oct. 4-31. This year's theme is “Fan Favorites,” where fans can vote for favorite scenes from the past 10 years of the popular show.

New in 2022, the fourth year of Winter Woods Spectacular at the park in south Louisville is going to become a walk-through event. Around 500 Christmas trees will line the same paths as used for the Jack O' Lantern Spectacular put on by Parks Alliance of Louisville.
