Here's the complete list of 2021 Oscar winners

THE OSCARS® - The 93rd Oscars will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Union Station Los Angeles and the Dolby® Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and international locations via satellite. "The Oscars" will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT and in more than 200 territories worldwide. (ABC/AMPAS) CHLOE ZHAO

Chloé Zhao and "Nomadland" were the big winners at the 93rd Academy Awards, winning best picture, director and lead actress (Frances McDormand) honors in a ceremony that also presented some historic firsts. Emerald Fennell started it early as the first woman to win a screenplay award since 2008. Yuh-Jung Youn's win as the first Korean actor was widely predicted but Anthony Hopkins' lead actor win for "The Father" came as a surprise to most.

The ceremony opened with a poignant speech from Oscar winner Regina King and was held at Los Angeles' Union Station, which at one time hosted many such events and has seen a recent restoration. There were also special segments from its usual venue, the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Producers of the show — Emmy nominee Jesse Collins, Oscar nominee Stacey Sher and Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh — predicted a lively ceremony. Odd speeches and lauded musical performances helped them attempt to fulfill their promise.
