Here's how much money Topeka City Council candidates have raised before Nov. 7 election

Incumbent Topeka City Councilman Spencer Duncan is the leading money raiser among candidates for the four council seats up for a vote in next week's general election.

Duncan has received campaign contributions totaling $14,000, the most of any council candidate, and has also personally loaned his campaign $25,110, said campaign finance reports submitted recently to the office of Shawnee County Election Commissioner Andrew Howell.

Candidates for the seats that will be on the Nov. 7 general election ballot were required by 6 p.m. Monday to file reports sharing information that included facts about how much income those campaigns brought in and how much money they expended between July 21 and Thursday.

Recently submitted campaign finance reports show how much Topeka City Council candidates' campaigns have raised and who has been donating to them.
