Here's all the places in Portage where you can get a free COVID test kit

With the holidays approaching, it's a sure bet that more people will be testing for COVID-19.

Here's a list of the places where the test kids are available free, while supplies last.

Portage County Health District

The Portage County Health District is offering test kits at its office, located at 999 E. Main St., Ravenna. The kits are available on a first-come, first serve basis weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Reed Memorial Library

The library, at 167 E. Main St., Ravenna, has the kits available through its drive-up window, according to a phone message at the library. Kits are not distributed inside the library. Library patrons are asked to call 330-296-2827 and listen to the phone message, which will be updated if the kits are no longer in stock.

Kent Free Library

Kent Free Library, 312 W. Main St., Kent, has test kits available, according to the library's website. Tests may only be picked up at the drive-through window. Tests may not be reserved. Please wear a mask when picking up tests. Do not come into the library. Patrons will receive one box with two tests inside. Patrons are asked not to call to determine test availability.

Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library

The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, 3512 Darrow Road, has test kits available through the library's drive-up window, while supplies last. Test availability will not be posted on the library's website.
