Here's how San Angelo is celebrating Pride Month in 2022

June 1 marks the beginning of LGBTQ+ Pride Month in San Angelo.

Here's a look at events commemorating Pride Month in San Angelo:

June 2

Safe Space Night and Meet The Queens at the Martial Pint, 19 E. Concho Ave., at 7 p.m. This is a meet and greet with the performers who will be featured in a Studio 54 Pride Drag Show on Sunday, June 5.

June 5

The Martial Pint, 19 E. Concho Ave., will host a disco-tech Studio 54 Pride Drag Show. Doors open at noon, and the show begins at 1 p.m. No cover charge.

June 6

Open Arms Rape Crisis Center & LGBT+ Services will host a Pride Party at the Parrot's Head Tavern, 2319 W. Ave. N, from 6-10 p.m.

June 11

There will be a Pulse Memorial Candlelight Vigil to remember the 49 people who were killed and 53 who were injured when a man opened fire in an Orlando gay nightclub on June 12, 2016.

The vigil will be held at Lone Wolf Bridge, 700-798 E. Ave. K, from 6-8 p.m.

June 12

Drag Queen Bingo will be held at the House of FiFi DuBois, 123 S. Chadbourne St., from 2-6 p.m. The event is for ages 13 and older.

There is a $5 cover charge. Bingo cards are $1 each. Reserved tables are available. All funds raised will be used to serve victims and survivors in the Concho Valley.

Drag queens will include Prada, Trixie, Nyx, Anita and Meghan.

June 24

Pride Ball presented by Koronazz, 4611 S. Jackson St., honoring performers and people who have built the LGBTQ community in San Angelo. Doors open at 8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres to be served. There will be a DJ and performances throughout the night. Dress to impress.

June 25

Pride Fest presented by Koronazz, 4611 S. Jackson St., will include a DJ and dancing, a drag show, vendors and food trucks. Doors open at 5 p.m.

June 26

Pride Drag Brunch presented by Koronazz, 4611 S. Jackson St. Brunch will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by a showtime at 12:30 p.m.
