FAIRHAVEN — Fairhaven's Annual Town Election ballot has begun taking form.

Based on those who returned their papers to Town Hall by the 5 p.m. deadline on Monday, here's a look at how the ballot is shaping up ahead of the April 1 town election:

Select Board Chairman Leon B. Correy III announced back in October that he did not intend to run for reelection to his expiring two-year term. Vying to fill his seat are six candidates: Patrick John Carr (current Planning Board member), Jean P Lemieux, Donna L.S. McKenna, Cathy Jean Melanson, Andrew Scott Romano, and Andrew B. Saunders.

In his announcement, Correy was outspoken in saying his decision not to seek reelection was based on racism he'd experienced during his time in office.
