Here are some of the South Dakota college athletes who have NIL deals
It's been a little over a year since college athletes were given the ability to profit from their own name, image and likeness, and plenty at South Dakota State and the University of South Dakota have taken advantage.
Former Coyote volleyball player Brooklyn Bollweg was the first, and dozens have followed. Per the schools, USD has over 100 athletes with some form of NIL project or contract. SDSU reports roughly 50.
Here's a sampling of some of the Jackrabbits and Coyotes taking advantage of the new rules. Note: This is not a complete list, as data on athletes with NIL deals was not released by the universities.
