Here's who the Spurs will play in Austin and when you can buy tickets for the NBA games

The NBA schedule has been released for the 2022-23 season, with two regular season games planned to take place in Austin.

The Moody Center will play host to a pair of games on April 6 and 8. The San Antonio Spurs will be the de facto home team, first playing the Portland Trail Blazers and then the Minnesota Timberwolves in a series the team is billing as the "I-35 Series."

The franchise is celebrating its 50th season in San Antonio with a game in Mexico City on Dec. 17 and at the Alamadome on Jan. 13. In a news release, the team says the game at the 65,000 capacity stadium would set them up to break an attendance record for an NBA regular season game.
