Rick and Morty fans now have a chance to star in the forthcoming fourth season. Wubba lubba dub-dub!

As announced on the official Rick and Morty Twitter page, show creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland are introducing a new character in season four.

And, that character could totally be you.

"We're introducing a new character this season," they wrote. "You!

"Enter to win an opportunity to be drawn into a future Rick and Morty episode and hang out with creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland in LA."

A video of the pair explaining how the prize works reveals that the initiative is to raise money for an autism charity, and will require fans to donate money for a chance to be drawn into an episode and hang out with Justin and Dan in LA.

Justin said: "Go to prizeo.com and donate to NEXT for autism for a chance to win being drawn into an episode of Rick and Morty, hang out with us losers and see the studio where we make the show."

"We're a thrill," Dan added.

“Yeah, we're a real hoot to be around," Justin deadpanned.

In other Rick and Morty news, the show recently teased the return of Evil Morty in season four, while new footage from the season has also been shared online and features a Thor star.

Rick and Morty will return to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network in the US in November, while E4/Channel 4 and Netflix carry the show in the UK but haven't confirmed an air date yet.
