Here's your updated guide of things to do in the El Paso area in 2022

With 72% of people, ages 12 years and older, in El Paso County fully vaccinated as of Aug. 30, entertainment in El Paso — from comedy and concerts to musicals — continue to be planned.

El Paso is the first Texas city to achieve herd immunity goal.

Many shows postponed in 2020 also have new dates in 2021.

Here's a guide to upcoming El Paso-area shows, so you can make your plans for entertainment for 2022.

Simon & Garfunkel Story

‘The Simon & Garfunkel Story’ is a critically acclaimed concert style theatre show about two young boys from Queens, New York who went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time. The story will be presented at 7 p.m. Jan. 16 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets begin selling Dec. 3 via elpasolive.com

The comedian will bring his I'm Coming Everywhere Tour to the Abraham Chavez Theatre at 7 p.m. Jan. 30. Tickets are $66 to $88 plus fees, available at Ticketmaster.com

Broadway in El Paso

Broadway in El Paso will return with six shows for the 2021-22 season, two of which weren't able to be presented last year. Schedule: The Simon & Garfunkel Story: Jan. 16-17; Fiddler on the Roof: Feb. 1-2; Anastasia: March 1-2; Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is an add-on show: April 26; Stomp: Rescheduled show from 2019-2020 season; Dec. 11-12, and Waitress: May 24-25.

Season ticket packages are on sale now, which guarantee the same seats to all shows. Season ticket holders also receive additional ticket discounts and the chance to purchase tickets to additional shows before the public. Three-show packages starting at $105, plus fees, are available, with the option to add "Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles" for $30 to $65. Shen Yun

Ghost

Grammy Award winning Swedish rock band Ghost and Denmark's Volbeat will bring their 2022 U.S. tour to El Paso next year. The 26-city tour will stop in El Paso on Feb. 28, with a performance at the Don Haskins Center. Special guest will be Twin Temple. Tickets, ranging from $32 and $92 plus fees, are available at https://www.ticketmaster.com

Disney princess

The Disney Princess in Concert including Belle, Jasmine, Anna and Cinderella will perform popular songs from the movies Feb.10 at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. Tickets, ranging from $37 to $217 plus fees, available at https://www.ticketmaster.com

Texas Tenors

The three-time Emmy Award-winning classical crossover, trio vocal group has rescheduled their performance to 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Plaza Theatre. Tyler, The Creator

Ana Gabriel

Mexican singer Ana Gabriel will bring her Por Amor a Ustedes World Tour to El Paso March 5 at the El Paso County Coliseum. Tickets are now on sale from $54 to $181, plus fees, https://www.ticketmaster.com/ and the coliseum box office.

El Paso Opera

The El Paso Opera will present a one-night only performance highlighting the iconic Frida Kahlo as part of the 2021-22 season. The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. March 19 at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. Tickets, ranging from $44 to $84, including fees, are available at the El Paso Opera website, epopera.org, and https://www.ticketmaster.com/

Jersey Boys

The jukebox musical "Jersey Boys" will return for one night March 21 at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 3 at elpasolive.com. Prices were not available.

Tejano Legends

Tejano Legends featuring Ruben Ramos with the Mexican Revolution has a new date, at 8 p.m. March 26 at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets, ranging from $42 to $62, plus fees, are available at https://www.ticketmaster.com/

Russian Ballet Theatre

Ricardo Arjona

Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona will bring his Blanco y Negro Tour to El Paso performing April 1 at the Don Haskins Center, UTEP Special Events announced on Twitter. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 8 at https://www.ticketmaster.com/

Harlem Globetrotters

The Harlem Globetrotters return to Dodge City at United Wireless Arena on Thursday, Aug. 19. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m., with ticket prices ranging from $26-$96, MagicPass is available for $20 and birthday bash events are $50-$100.

The famed basketball team's game has been postponed, from Sept. 3 to April 16 at the Don Haskins Center. Current tickets will be valid for new date. Those who cannot attend the rescheduled game have until Sept. 1 to request a refund. To be eligible for the refund, fans must have purchased the tickets through the arena website or in person at the UTEP Box Office and may not have transferred. Tickets are listed as ranging from $20 to $120, plus fees.

Foreigner

The rock band will bring its best hists from late ’70s/early ’80s to El Paso, with a performance at 8 p.m. April 11 at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. Tickets, ranging from $49 to $129, plus fees, are available at https://www.ticketmaster.com/ and https://elpasolive.com/

Earth, Wind & Fire

The legendary funk band Earth, Wind & Fire will come to El Paso for a concert in 2022. El Paso Live announced on Twitter the Grammy-winning group will perform at 8 p.m. April 24 at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, via https://www.ticketmaster.com/

Celtic Woman Celebration

The internationally popular group has a new El Paso date for its Postcards from Ireland show, 7:30 p.m. May 1 at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets, ranging from $35 to $150, plus fees, are available at https://www.ticketmaster.com/
