There’s only one good Monday in the history of Mondays, and that is the first Monday in May. Otherwise known as the fated night the Metropolitan Museum of Art throws its iconic Met Gala. This year’s fête falls on May 6 (aka TODAY), and it’s being co-chaired by Lady “Definitely Not in Love With Bradley Cooper” Gaga, your imaginary husband Harry Styles, person-who-knows-Meghan-Markle's-baby-name Serena Williams, Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Of course, the Met Gala theme always corresponds to a museum exhibit of the same name, and this year it’s “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” inspired by Susan Sontag’s famous “Notes on ‘Camp’” essay. Which is basically a guarantee that Met Gala faves like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Sarah Jessica Parker are going to Turn. It. Out.

Even if you aren’t big into couture, the Met Gala is the one time of year where celebrities hit the red carpet looking fully deranged boldly and ridiculously glamorous in the name of FASHUN, and it’s worth a watch. Like, where else are you gonna get moments like this?

So, how do you tune in? Obviously, the best way to watch the Met Gala is...at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. But if for some mysterious reason you don’t feel like traveling to New York City and lurking next to the Met steps, Blair-Waldorf style, rejoice: There are easier ways to get your fashion fix. But just to clarify, unfortunately the Met Gala itself isn’t televised. The red carpet, on the other hand, most definitely is!

Yes, E! Is Coming Through

No awards show would be complete without watching the living legends known as Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic attempt to make conversation with celebrities. And E! is coming through with Live From the Red Carpet: The 2019 Met Gala special on Monday, May 6, starting at 5:00 p.m. ET. And it lasts four entire hours, which, good lord. Watch E!

E! will also have coverage on Twitter and the E! mobile app, and psst: If you don’t have cable but can’t live without this iconic experience, don’t panic. You should be good with either YouTube TV or Hulu with Live TV, both of which offer free trials you can sign up for right before the show.

Sign Up for Hulu

And if all else fails....

Hit Up Social Media

Vogue, who cohosts with the Met, plans to stream the carpet from their Facebook page. You can also expect content from their other social channels-and of course Cosmopolitan.com will be doing the most, so check back here night-of for all things fashion, drama, and meme-related.
