Here's where to buy Thanksgiving, Christmas meals around Lubbock

Want to enjoy the holidays, without spending stressful hours in the kitchen? Several Lubbock area businesses are offering to do all the cooking, some including desserts, to allow customers to spend more time with their families instead of in the kitchen.

Here's where you can buy a full holiday spread in Lubbock.

Preorders available for holiday feasts in Lubbock

Cracker Barrel

When to order: From now through Nov. 26. Pickup between Nov. 19-26.

Thanksgiving options: There are three Thanksgiving Feast options, one of which feeds 8-10, and two 4-6. Each comes with a main protein and sides. Desserts and additional sides are available.

Christmas: Orders can be made now. Pickup begins Dec. 21-28.

Escondido Grill

When to order: Orders must be made 24 hours in advance. Pick up will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Nov. 24.

Options: Two Thanksgiving dinner packages are available. One serves 4-6 people and costs $135, and the other serves 8-10 and costs $220.

H-E-B

When to order: Now until 9 p.m. Nov. 23. Meals will be available for curbside pickup or home delivery the week of Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving options: H-E-B offers three packages: Honey Cured Spiral Ham Meal, Oven Roasted Turkey Breast Meal or Oven Roasted Whole Turkey Meal. Sides include mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce. The ham and turkey breast meals are $79.99 and feed four, while the whole turkey meal feeds eight and costs $149.99.

Christmas: H-E-B will not offer Christmas meals this year.

Hill Barbecue

When to order: Now through Nov. 20, or until sold out.

Option: A 20-lb. smoked Thanksgiving Turkey for $100.

Market Street

When to order: Thanksgiving holiday dinners can be ordered through Nov. 21 and will be available for pick-up on or after November 16, 2022.

Options: There are four dinner options and two side dish options:

Prime Rib serves 4-6 people and costs $199.99. It comes with roasted prime rib, green bean amandine, hashbrown casserole, Boar's Head Horseradish Sauce, broccoli rice casserole and praline sweet potatoes.

Roasted Turkey Holiday Dinner serves 8-10 people and costs $129.99. It comes with turkey, herb giblet gravy, cranberry relish, cornbread dressing, green bean amandine, mashed potatoes and praline sweet potatoes.

Turkey Breast Dinner comes with holiday herb roasted turkey breast. It is the same serving size, cost and has the same sides as the roasted turkey.

Sweet Slice Ham comes with Boneless Boar's Head Sweet Slice Ham, ham glaze, green bean amandine, hashbrown casserole, broccoli rice casserole and praline sweet potatoes. This serves 8-10 people and costs $129.99.

Holiday Side Dish Box Option #1 has 1 lb. cranberry relish, 2 lbs. each of giblet gravy and green bean amandine, and 3 lbs. each of cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes and praline sweet potatoes.

Holiday Side Dish Box Option #2 has 2 lbs. green bean amandine and 3 lbs. each of  hashbrown casserole, broccoli rice casserole and praline sweet potatoes.

Both side dish box options are $59.99. Additional sides, including vegetables, rolls and casseroles are available for extra.

When to order: Order by Friday, Nov. 19. Pickup will be Nov. 23 from 10 a.m.-noon.

Options: Three options: Thanksgiving Feast (Full Order) feeds 10-12 for $249.99 comes with a 12-14 lbs. turkey, cornbread stuffing, seasoned green beans, candied sweet potatoes, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, confetti corn, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls (18) and two pies; Thanksgiving Feast (Half Order) $130; and Prime Rib $299.99.

When to order: Order by Friday, Nov. 18.

Options: This meal is portioned for six people and includes: a choice of salad, choice of turkey or ham, choice of two sides, Ninety-Two Bakery & Café sourdough garlic & herb rolls (8), cranberry sauce.

When to order: Thanksgiving holiday dinners can be ordered through Nov. 21 and will be available for pick-up on or after November 16, 2022.

Baked Turkey Holiday Dinner, which serves 8-10 people for $79.99. It comes with a fully cooked turkey, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish, giblet gravy and a dozen rolls.

Lubbock restaurants open on Thanksgiving, Christmas

For people who would rather leave the house for Thanksgiving, here's a list of which restaurants will be open.

Regular hours:

Applebee's, 4025 S. Loop 289.

Denny's will be open during their regular hours at 4718 Slide Road and 607 Ave. Q.

Dunkin'.

Hooters, 4950 S. Loop 289.

IHOP will have regular hours at 3911 S. Loop 289 and 1627 University Ave.

Most McDonalds locations.

Popeyes. Locations could offer a whole Cajun-flavored turkey.

Whataburger locations.

Special hours:

Bucket of Love, 6012 82nd St., Suite E. Open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and will serve chicken and dressing.

Buffalo Wild Wings from 2 p.m.-2 a.m. Locations: 8212 University Ave., 6320 19th St., and 7638 82nd St.

Claraboya Scratch Kitchen + Bar, 505 Ave. Q, will offer brunch from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Cracker Barrel, 5018 Milwaukee Ave., open from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Carryout and dine-in options will be available.

Golden Corral, 5117 S. Loop 289 will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. with a full Thanksgiving spread for dine-in or carryout.

Overton Hotel & Conference Center, 2322 Mac Davis Lane, will have a Thanksgiving Brunch in the Sunset Ballroom 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Pecan Grill will also have a dinner from 5-10 p.m. Reservations are required for both, and can be made by calling 806-776-7010.

Saltgrass Steakhouse, 6026 Marsha Sharp Freeway, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Stella's Restaurant, Suite #1 at 6015 82nd St., from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. with a limited menu. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Woody's Brick Oven Pizza and Grill, 3135 34th St., will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
