The Niles Scream Park, located at 855 Mayflower Road in Niles, opened Sept. 9 for its 49th season with seven haunted attractions.

The 44-acre park rebuilds all six of its major attractions each year, and this year's lineup includes the Niles Haunted House, Field of Screams and Dark Terror-tory Haunted Hayride, along with the Sinister Streets of Salem, which is set in 1692 with a witch-hanging judge in Salem, Mass., and The Evil Estate, where guests embark on a search for the paranormal.

Additionally, Hooded is back this year. Visitors are blindfolded and touched by actors as they pass through this intense attraction.

Four Mini Escape Rooms, concessions, a Halloween gift shop and new photo-ops are also on the grounds for guests to enjoy.

From 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 4 and 5, the park will host a "Black Out" event where guests use glow sticks to navigate the otherwise-dark grounds.
