Here's where you can listen to free outdoor summer concerts in Ventura County

Grab a blanket and head to these parks to hear free summer concerts.

Camarillo

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District and the city of Camarillo have free outdoor concerts in Constitution Park, 601 Carmen Drive The Saturday shows start at 7 p.m.

What to know: Folding camping chairs, blankets and a picnic are welcome. Seating is on the lawn and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Residents are allowed to save their spot in advance by placing their chairs and blankets on the grass no earlier than 5 p.m. Friday. Sign up to volunteer at pvrpd.org/volunteer.

Moorpark

The music will start at 6 p.m. for a series of Saturday concerts in Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Gates open at 5 p.m.

What to know: Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on the grass.

Oak Park

Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will hold a July concert at 6:30 p.m. at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive.

What to know: Bring a blanket or chair. A free shuttle is available at the entrance to the park and from Oak Park High School.

Ojai

The Ojai Band puts on free concerts sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ojai West on Wednesdays July 12-Aug. 9. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. at the Libbey Bowl, 210 S. Signal St.

Oxnard

Channel Islands Harbor

“Concerts by the Sea” will have live music from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturdays from July 8 through Sept. 2 at Harbor View Park, 3850 Harbor Blvd. in Oxnard.

What to know: For free seating, bring a blanket or (low-back) lawn chair starting at 4 p.m. Fridays. For individual seats, tickets cost $10 each and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5 p.m.
