Here's where Sarasota, Manatee county residents can early vote in the Nov. 8 election

Early voting for the Nov. 8 election begins on Monday in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Registered voters in those counties can early vote any day from Monday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Nov. 6. In Sarasota County, the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day, and in Manatee County, the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Sarasota County offers the following early voting sites, and citizens are free to cast their ballot at any of the locations:

  • Elections Office, Sarasota County Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Lane, Sarasota

  • Elections Office, R.L. Anderson Administration Center, Room 114, 4000 South Tamiami Trail, Venice

  • Elections Office, Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail, North Port

  • North Sarasota Public Library, 2801 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota

  • Fruitville Public Library, 100 Apex Road, Sarasota

  • The Devyn Event Center, 7113 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota

  • Bee Ridge Park, 4430 South Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota

  • Venice Public Library, 300 Nokomis Ave. South, Venice

  • Shannon Staub Public Library / Suncoast Technical College, 4675 Career Lane, North Port

Manatee County offers the following early voting locations (like in Sarasota County, voters can cast their ballot at any of the sites):

  • Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch

  • Manatee County Utilities Admin Office, 4410 66th St. West, Bradenton

  • Palmetto Library, 923 6th St. West, Palmetto

  • Rocky Bluff Library, 6750 U.S. Highway 301, Ellenton

  • Supervisor of Elections Office, 600 301 Blvd. West, Bradenton

Absentee voting is also underway in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
