Here's where and when you can see fireworks on the South Shore this summer

QUINCY –  Fireworks celebrations will return from hiatus on the South Shore this year, lighting up the sky with twinkling lights and exploding color and drawing oohs and aahs  from crowds.

Here's where you can catch shows starting this weekend.

Canton

9:15 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Irish Cultural Centre, 200 New Boston Road.

Halifax

9 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the Halifax athletic fields, 470 Plymouth St.

Hanover

9 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the ballfields behind Center School, 65 Silver St. Rain date is Sunday, June 26.

Hingham

9 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Button Island, 3 Otis St. Rain date is Saturday, July 2.

Note: The Hingham Fourth of July fireworks have been canceled due to the presence of protected wildlife on Button Island. The show will take place in September.

Milton

10 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Governor Hutchinson’s Field, Adams Street.  Rain date is Sunday, June 26.

Plymouth:

9 p.m., Monday, July 4 at Pilgrim Memorial State Park, 79 Water St.

Quincy

9 p.m. Saturday, June 11,  over Blacks Creek, with a view from Pageant Field in Merrymount Park.   Rain date is Sunday, June 12.

Rockland

9:15 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 9:15 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Taunton Avenue.  Rockland Day does not have a rain date at this time.Details are available here.

Sharon

9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3,  over Lake Massapoag, 196 Pond St.  Rain date is Sunday, July 10.

Weymouth

9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3,  at George Lane Beach, River Street.
