Here's where you can snag a free cup of joe for National Coffee Day on Thursday
Coffee-drinkers, unite. Thursday is National Coffee Day for 2022, and multiple places around Sioux Falls are offering specials for the city's coffee lovers.
We've gathered a list of places serving free cups of joe and other specials. Although the Argus Leader reached out to local coffee shops and cafes, many did not respond or were not offering a special as of Wednesday evening.
And Starbucks, sadly, is not participating in the holiday this year.
Here's a roundup of the specials in Sioux Falls we could find for National Coffee Day:
Caribou Coffee
Where: Multiple locations
What: Get any medium handcrafted drink for $3 if you're a Perks member.

Scooter’s Coffee
Where: Multiple locations
What: Customers can get a free, small cup of fresh-brewed coffee by scanning the Scooter’s Coffee Mobile App at participating locations.
Dunn Brothers Coffee
Where: 5320 E. Arrowhead Parkway; 8220 W. 12th Street
What: Get a medium brew coffee for free. Customers can also buy one pound of beans and get the second half-off.
McDonald's
Where: Multiple locations
What: Customers can get a free small coffee at McDonald's locations.

Barnes & Noble
Where: 3700 W. 41st Street
What: Grab a free tall hot or iced coffee with the purchase of a baked item on National Coffee Day.
Panera Bread
Where: 5117 S. Louise Avenue; 500 S. Foss Avenue
What: New Unlimited Sip Club subscribers will get two free months of the free coffee membership club. If you're already a member, you'll get $2 off "select barista beverages and smoothies."
