Here's where Vanderbilt football has moved its spring game because of stadium upgrades

Vanderbilt football will hold its spring game at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 8, the program announced Friday.

Due to current construction at FirstBank Stadium, the spring game will be held at the Vanderbilt Soccer and Lacrosse Complex. Admission will be free.

Currently, Vanderbilt is constructing a new basketball practice facility beyond the north end zone of the stadium as part of the Vandy United projects. In addition, south end zone seating is set to be demolished in March for improved seating, a new video board, locker rooms and a dining facility.

Although the stadium will be usable by the start of the 2023 season, spring practices and scrimmages cannot be held there.

The Commodores will begin spring practice on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and run through April 7, with time off from March 9-21 for spring break.

The Vanderbilt lacrosse team will also have a game April 8 at 11 a.m. prior to the spring game taking place.
