Here's where to watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup with fellow fans in Cincinnati

The biggest sporting event in the world comes around only once every four years, and this is the first time it will take place in late autumn.

Due to Qatar's intense heat and humidity, the 2022 FIFA World Cup is being held Nov. 20 to Dec. 18, making it the first to be played outside of May, June or July, and with a reduced timeframe of just 29 days.

Where is Qatar?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is being held in Qatar, a country in the Middle East. It is the first World Cup to be played in the Arab world, FIFA said. The event's 64 matches will take place across eight stadiums.

What time is it in Qatar?

Qatar is eight hours ahead of Cincinnati. The country observes the Arabian Standard Time zone.

How to pronounce Qatar

If you're trying to correctly pronounce the 2022 World Cup host, you're not alone.

The country's Arabic name includes two letters that only exist in Arabic, a Qatari government media liaison told Yahoo Sports, so pronouncing it correctly in American English is no easy feat. However, "Kuh-TAR," is acceptable.
