Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine ordered flags on government buildings in Fayette County and at the Ohio Statehouse to be lowered to half mast in honor of two firefighters who died Saturday.

Concord-Green Fire Chief Ralph Stegbauer and Fire Captain Jeffery Skaggs died Saturday while working on a radio tower outside the firehouse when a mechanical lift overturned, throwing the men several feet into the air.

Flags will remain at half-staff until funerals are held for Stegbauer and Skaggs.

Flags are also at half-mast until Nov. 29 to honor former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, who died on Sunday at age 86.
